Overview
As our first-ever Community Ambassador, you will serve as the primary liaison between Vela, our users, relevant influencers, and key partners to build relationships and foster meaningful engagement. In addition, you’ll work closely with Vela’s leadership team and play a major role in shaping our product roadmap.
Requirements
- Active Vela user
- Active engagement within the Etsy and/or Shopify seller ecosystem
- Existing relationships with relevant influencers, content creators, and other potential partners
- Experience creating content for social media, blogs, etc
Role & Responsibilities
- Engage with current users in Vela’s User Community via Slack and other forums.
- Build relationships and partnership opportunities with relevant influencers, content creators, industry experts, etc.
- Work directly with Vela’s Founders and product team to conceptualize and prioritize new features.
- Create content (e.g. videos, FAQs, courses) to inform and educate users about Vela.
- Devise and execute strategies to attract new users and fuel growth.
Terms & Compensation
- Work-from-home, location agnostic, flexible schedule
- Initially part-time (i.e. approximately 20 hours per week) to start for 2-3 months. Assuming strong performance and mutual interest, we intend to make this a full-time position and continue building the community team.
- Hourly rate or monthly retainer for part-time work will be equal to or greater than your current compensation and dependent on your experience and time commitment.
- Annual salary for full-time will be equal to or greater than your current compensation and include full medical benefits, 401(k) plan with company matching, equity, and more.
